This is most of my cousins' family in Bird-In-Hand, PA. I realized later that people are missing!!

My sister, Kelise, went to Japan and came back with two kimonas. She's wearing a "el cheapo" tourist one, and my mom is wearing Kel's used--but authentic--one.

A few friends and I met at Robinette's Orchard. We had a blast, drinking cider, eating doughnuts, and having fun. This is Anna.

My dad and my younger cousin playing Catch at Oval Beach on Lake Michigan. I intentionally over-exposed this shot as an experiment and I love how it turned out.

Autumn '06. The air was cool and crisp. Leaves smelt good. I like the detail this picture displays.

I took this one summer morning while the sun was still rising. The air was cool and very misty. The sun and the fog made for some ethereal lighting.

This was taken at Mosquito Falls, in Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. I love this picture conveys the "texture" of the water.

This was taken at Calvin after there was a bomb threat. We were evacuated, there were bomb squads, policemen, and ambulences everywhere. Although the "bomb" turned out to be pretty minor, it was a stressful and tense time.

Can you count the galaxies you see here? There are at least 6, and perhaps as many as 9. They make up "The Fath," a small galaxy cluster I imaged using the Calvin-Rehoboth Observatory.

Taken at Oval Beach on Lake Michigan. I love the powerful, sweeping form of the water juxtaposed somewhat against the light, frothy foam.

After an evening of colorful and lively square dancing at a family camp in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, I took some pictures. After the sun had set and the chill of night set in, I spotted these two boys working on a sandcastle.

One of my favorite pictures of all time. this is a shot of my friends Tori (left) and Heather (right) at a high school dance. Tori was my date! ;-)

This is on the Muskegon River at a get-together--these were the actual colors!!

My sister, Kelise. She's got a wonderful and unique personality. She and her friends were about to play Capture the Flag around our house.

On of my family's cats, Pippin. He's very affectionate! :-)

"You know it's Spring when...." I took this picture of the first crocus in the family flower garden.

Some friends and I went camping at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. I caught an intimate shot of a friend gazing over the water.

January 2006--I decided to pick up extreme rollerblading. I did not break any bones! That day I also learned to snowboard.

My floor went on a camping trip--6 of us, anyway. We camped in the dunes. It was a wonderful time.

I took this photo with my camera on telephoto. I shot it though the telescope's eyepiece.

I took this out in front of my house. I think it nicely captures the excitement of Spring.

Zach on the other side of an aquarium filled with hot and cold water. We were in a thermodynamics in fluids lab.
